Large-scale deliveries of Polish weapons turned out to be good for Ukraine. At the moment, it is known that all three divisions are actively used by the Ukrainian military, while it is known that the Ukrainian army has lost only two self-propelled howitzers since the appearance of these weapons with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“During a press conference after the Ramstein-6 meeting in Brussels, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced that Poland had transferred more Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine than officially reported so far. According to Reznikov, 3 AHS Krab divisions reached Ukraine, i.е. 54 howitzer guns , ”notes the Polish resource Altair.

What is very remarkable, all 54 self-propelled artillery mounts were delivered to Ukraine free of charge, however, according to Polish resources, by the summer of next year, Ukraine will receive another batch of 54 AHS Krab self-propelled guns, thereby increasing the number of self-propelled artillery mounts of this type to 106 units ( including two destroyed self-propelled guns).

“It is worth noting that from the statements of the minister it is clear that these 3 divisions provided to Poland are provided free of charge. In the future, they will be joined by 3 more AHS Krab divisions ordered by Kyiv in June this year. Thus, the Ukrainians will receive a total of at least 108 Polish self-propelled howitzers ,” the Altair resource reports.

To date, Ukraine is armed with the world’s largest number of self-propelled guns AHS Krab – out of 90 issued artillery mounts, the Armed Forces of Ukraine own 60% of these weapons.
